GWG May Meeting

I apologize to those I was unable to contact regarding the April meeting cancellation. I was being sworn in as a Guardian ad Litem and was unable to hold the meeting.

I would like to again take a moment to honor those in service, past, present and future. Many a brave soldier has fought on and off our soil for the right to freedom and peace. Those who have friends and family in the service know they serve with a passion like no other; never ceasing to amaze with their pure dedication to their country and fellow man. Thank you.

There was interest in participating in a critique group and submissions were solicited for the May meeting. These submissions will be reviewed during the meeting, hopefully giving others an idea of what to expect in future critiques.

Christy Shorey of the Gainesville Fiction Writers (GFW) group plans to attend. Christy has lead a successful critique group for some time and I hope she will provide insight into the GFW’s methods.

Also…A reminder that the Anhinga Writers Workshops are just around the corner. Be sure to get your seat before it’s too late!
